CORRECT USE OF PROPAFENONE

CONTRAINDICATIONS

Propafenone is contraindicated in the following cases:

severe or uncontrolled congestive heart failure
 cardiogenic shock
 sick sinus syndrome (without pacemaker implanted)
 2nd or 3rd degree AV block (without pacemaker implanted)
 right bundle branch block, associated with anterior or posterior hemiblock
 left bundle branch block
 bradycardia (<50 beats/min)
 hypotension (systolic blood pressure <100 mmHg)
 severe liver disease
 severe electrolytic imbalance
 myasthenia gravis
 chronic bronchial asthma
